"Adam surprised me with an engagement ring. I was wearing pyjamas at the time."

Michelle first met Adam through a friend in a pub four years before their big day and admits that his wedding proposal was not very romantic. "We went round to my dad's house for Sunday lunch and my stepmother asked us if we had any plans to marry. We said that we were definitely thinking about it which somehow led us to booking the wedding venue!"

Adam did show his romantic side some months later when he presented Michelle with a beautiful engagement ring. "We were due to be going away for the weekend but I wasn't feeling well," recalls Michelle. "Adam surprised me with an engagement ring. I was wearing pyjamas at the time!".
